About Our Founder
Tim Mosholder is originally from Western Pennsylvania. He lived in Southern California for eight years before moving to Colorado in 1998 with his wife, Jennifer. Both have a son.
Tim founded Mountain View Photo in 2002, bringing with him a deep passion for photography that continues to inspire every session. With over 30 years of experience, Tim has mastered the technical and artistic elements of photography—including lighting, depth of field, composition, and the art of posing.
His dedication to wedding photography is evident throughout his portfolio. Having photographed more than 500 weddings, Tim understands how to capture both the big moments and the subtle, emotional details that make each wedding unique. His style blends beautifully posed formal portraits with a photojournalistic approach, ensuring a complete and authentic story of your day.
In addition to Tim working full-time in the studio, our team includes two skilled part-time photographers who assist with weddings and special events. Each photographer is highly experienced and fully capable of photographing weddings independently.
